I’ve heard the tale of a sunken city
Inside a deep and dark cave
A settlement in the branches
This new enclave

After months in the wasteland
Only rocks, gravel and sand
It was time to visit this cavern
Rumours has it, they have a tavern
And a subterranean lake
With a giant mutated snake
.
I had walked far into the wilderness
Surrounded by the emptiness
I needed a cure to my loneliness
so I enter the cave
In complete darkness
Feels like Im walking to my grave
.
Until a brim of light
That reflected on the calcite
It was the rays of the sunrise
Orange light swarming around my eyes
Guess the nukes didn’t kill the fireflies
Oh look
A city built on the stolen tree of life.
